I’ve always had a deep appreciation for the art of storytelling. I followed this interest when pursuing my undergrad at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, where I received a degree in Mass Communication. With an emphasis on news writing, I was a staff writer at the University Chronicle for two years. While there, I published dozens of stories — many with a focus on the environment and outdoor recreation. Following graduation, I’ve done a professional dance between news writing, marketing, and my other love, restaurants.
